Dafna Hopenstand brings considerable experience in litigation and transactional environmental, land use, and real estate law to Raines Law Group LLP. Prior to joining Raines Law Group LLP, Dafna was associated with the law firms of Allen, Matkins, Leck, Gamble, Mallory & Natsis, and then Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro.
As an environmental litigator, Dafna managed common law environmental claims including indemnification, insurance matters, and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) litigation cases. Dafna also managed land use and real estate litigation cases such as eminent domain and inverse condemnation, boundary disputes, and land use appeals.
As a transactional attorney, Dafna represented businesses in all aspects of environmental, real estate, land use administrative matters including contract negotiation, real estate transactions, and compliance issues.
Dafna Hopenstand received her undergraduate degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin, where she received the Samson Fellowship. Dafna is a member of the State Bars of California and Wisconsin.
