Andrew Raines is a real estate and transactional attorney with over 20 years of experience in legal practice and real estate transactions including leases, acquisition & disposition and financing. Prior to founding Raines Law Group LLP, Andrew was with the law firm of Lillick & McHose (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP) and was a Partner at Advisors LLP.
Andrew is an investor and licensed broker as well as attorney and participates in numerous real estate transactions with Pardo Properties LLC including the acquisition of a strategic location for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Oklahoma City and a prime retail/industrial property in Minneapolis, MN. His focus on investments primarily targets buildings with long-term net leases or City, County, State or Federal government leases. Andrew has worked closely with Mr. Pardo on all of his prior acquisition, management, leasing and disposition activities involving 1,350,000 square feet during the last 10 years. Andrew has also previously invested and managed leasing and investment activities for third parties including Los Angeles Realty Services, Inc. He also led the investor group in the purchase and subsequent sale in 1999-2000 of the landmark Clevelander Hotel in Miami's historic Art Deco hotel district.
Andrew received his A.B. degree in 1979 from Princeton University, with a concentration in urban planning from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1983 from Georgetown University Law Center. He became admitted to the State Bar of California in 1984 and became a licensed Real Estate Broker with the California Department of Real Estate in 1986. Andrew was admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court in 2008.
